The X Factor!!! (The X Factor)

Advantages: Funny, great Saturday nioght entertainment Disadvantages: occasional awful singers! The X factor has become one of my favourite television series to watch. It's funny, emotional and entertaining. The first series of the X factor was aired in 2004 on ITV1. The show starts as nation wide auditions where members of the Great British Public audition in front of a panel of judges. The judges so far have been: Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Dani Minogue, Cheryl Cole, Sharon Osbourne, Brian Friedman and Paula Abdul, the first four are the current panel of judges. Once through the first set of auditions, the competitors are invited to Boot Camp, the Judges houses and lastly the live finals. The auditions can be hilariously funny or amazingly good and anywhere in between! The series has become so popular that there are hundreds of different variations worldwide, all with the same goal. The winner of The X Factor wins a one million pound recording contract and traditionally walks away with the Christmas Number one spot in the charts. The latest winner of the X Factor was Alexandra Burke. Well done Alex! The X Factor is great Saturday night entertainment for all the family. Summary: Brilliant show, something for everyone |
