I watched this when it first came out and I quickly bored of the blatant rigging and clear lack of any form of audience participation, from the first it was clearly a show for Simon Cowell to get his name and face out there and it has done this for him really well but at what cost?

How many people have gone through this system and just been dropped nice they were out the other end? But this blatant exploitation of people's dreams is not the reason I am reviewing this god-awful excuse for entertainment that I would normally rather rip out my own eyes and fill the sockets with salt than watch. Well tonight I folded as this whole "Jedward" thing has been so dominant in the world today I've absorbed it through osmosis regardless of what I wanted. And the absolute farce I saw tonight confirmed all my suspicions about this show and its real aims.

Sharon Osborne got too mouthy for Simon so she's gone, and Simon has been mouthing for weeks about this, what I can see is a travesty, called jedward, but when he finally has the opportunity to get rid of the act that are going to end his show he keeps these tone deaf, ugly as sin, manufactured pop boys who really are the hobos boyzone/westlife instead of a much better singer in a singing contest.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why people watch this, it's fairly evident what is going to happen in each episode, that said the fact that Simon kept jedward in surprised me. But it's the only think which did.

So it's a pile of garbage with no redeeming features. 0/10 for me and I score lower on this type of drivel if I could.
