They Think It’s All Over could be described as a sports version of Have I Got News For You - but that would be very unfair on Have I Got News For You. Although the format is similar, They Think Its All Over fails to make me laugh continuously, unlike Have I Got News For You, and has never really been as funny as it was since Lee Hurst left and was replaced by Jonathan Ross.
The host of They Think Its All Over, Nick Hancock, can be slightly annoying some of the time, as his eyes appear to dart across the screen reading the auto-cue. However despite the fact that this is not as funny as Have I Got News For You, it is worth watching as it does provide some funny jokes. One thing about this show that is brilliant is one of the “never to be shown on TV” videos, No Holds Barred. This is one of the funniest videos I have ever seen and I recommend you buy this, even if you never watch the programme.
