Advantages: extremely funny
Disadvantages: none
This show's on a friday night at 9-30 and repeated on a saturday, this is the adult version of a question of sport. The host nick hancock, who is a extremely funny person looks as though he's thoroughly enjoying himself is the perfect person to front this programme. The general idea of the show is that two teams answer questions on sport, the teams being made up of, on one side you have jonathon ross and david gower(ross taking the p**s as much as possible, most of it at david gower and gary lineker's expense). On the other side you have gary lineker and rory mc'grath( rory doing much the same as ross). Eventually questions are asked on sport, but these are secondary to the humour. hopefully this show will last for years with it being in my opinion the funniest sports programme on tv at the moment.

- 17/01/01 I've made this comment on another opinion about this subject so please forgive my repeating myself. I think the humour in this programme is directed more towards the male viewer. This is not meant in a derogitory way but I find it a bit 'too near the mark'. However, I am almost always entertained by the final round - the name guessing - and find Rory's superior wit shows against Jonathon. |
