The Thin Blue Line was a good comedy, much better than today's so-called comedies. The characters were good, plots were great and the jokes were very funny. It some some very funny situations and I cannot see anyone not laughing at this.

Despite its success and popularity, why though did it end? Did the writer, Ben Elton, not want to do any more? I don't ever remember the BBC saying it would not make any more, they just never did. I catch the repeats of this on UK Gold sometimes but the BBC have not repeated this for a long time now.
