The Thin Blue Line is the funnest program on the BBC.

Rowan Ackinson plays the stupid sargent who can get nothing right. This isn't a slap stick comedy show but is very funny.

This is how evening light entertainment should be. The charaters are too complex, are very funny and doesn't use old jokes or cliches.

If the BBC spend licence money on good shows like this, then noone who moan about paying for an licence.
