Advantages: Has a variety of guests and topics on, good presenters.

Disadvantages: Can be boring and repetitive.

This Morning is the regular morning show that can be seen on our screens between 10.30 and 12.30 on ITV Monday through to Friday. It is on all through the year apart from a break in the summer and at christmas.

The show first started in the late eighties and was presented by Richard and Judy for many years. Its most recent presenters were Fern Britton and Phillip Schofield, Fern has just left in July and is soon to be replaced by Holly Willoughby. It will be interesting to see how the new line up works as Fern and Phillip had a really good rapport and always had a laugh on the show. Phillip has already worked with Holly on Dancing on Ice so I think that is probably the reason why she is Fern's replacement.

The two hour show is a mixture of news, celebrity interviews, real life stories, makeovers, fashion, garden, food and music. It really does have a bit of everything. There are regular slots from people like Dr Chris and agony aunt Denise. Every episode I would say features two celebrities, usually there to talk about and promote there latest project. One real life story that may have featured in the news recently. Then either a food segment, a fashion segment, the latest soap and television gossip.
Each episode is different and I would say is split into 6 twenty minute sections, each featuring different things.

I think this daytime show is ok but it is not something I could watch all the time, there always seems to be the same fashion experts on or the same cooks, it does get quite boring after a while. I enjoy watching the celebrity and real life stories but it is all the other regular slots I struggle to watch. I think the show has been going for that long they have run out of things to talk about and do, therefore it gets repetitive.

Overall it is an ok show, the presenters always do a good job of making the program entertaining I just think it is the format that does not work.
I watch it occassionally but will never go out of my way to watch it.

Summary: Maybe the show has been on for too many years.
