Advantages: Entertaining, funny, interesting, good real life stories and competitions

Disadvantages: I miss Fern Britton as presenter :(

I have spent years watching This Morning and am so used to seeing Philip Schofield and Fern Britton present it for so long that it seems a bit strange to not see Fern on my screen every morning now.

I think it has gone slightly downhill since she left as i thought she was a brilliant presenter but the fact that Philip is still there is really good.

If you have never heard of This Morning, it is a daytime television programme shown every weekday at 10:30am on UTV.

Holly Willoughby recently took over from Fern Britton which i think is a big role to fill as Fern was so funny.

Philip Schofield presents the show along with her. The other couple who present the show are Eamonn Holmes and his wife to be Ruth Langsford.

This Morning was created by Granada television and first hit our screens in 1988 (i didnt even realise it was that old!)

The programme features real life stories and people, entertainment, celebrity guests, cookery, competitions, health advice and humour.

The good thing about it is that each show is very different so you dont really know what to expect. New presenter Holly has got a lot of criticism in the press recently for not being very good at presenting the show.

I personally prefer Fern but im sure Holly will prove herself to be just as good given time.

The running time of each show is 120 minutes so it takes up a large proportion of the morning. This Morning is on its 22nd season of the show - amazing!

The show has won a TV Quick award for best daytime show in 2003/2004. It has also won three National Television Awards in 1999, 2000 and 2004.

I will continue to watch this show as i think its a good way to wake me up in the morning alongside my cup of tea. There is usually a lot of good content and real life stories on the show that keep me entertained.
