This morning has been on the television since 1988 and it first began with presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan, they were and still are a married couple, who usually present together but sometimes Richard has done solo shows.

They left the show in 2001 and went to Channel 4 to do an evening show together.

The show has had many presenters over the years, some have been Twiggy, Coleen Nolan, John Leslie, Fern Britton and Phillip Schofield.

John Leslie presented the show with Fern for a few years and got along very well until he was sacked and she then went on to sit along side Phillip, until she left in 2009 and Phillip now airs the show with Holly Willoughby.

I must admit I do miss Fern and I wish she did not leave the show last year but her husband Phil still does some cooking for the show.

The programme has different articles about lifestyles, make up, sex, home make over's and many more, they have a phone in where if you have a problem, the topic of that day, you can phone in for advice and Denise Robertson will be there to answer and help.

It has lots of celebrity articles and they always have 1 or 2 on the show each day.

Ferns husband Phil Vickery does cooking on the show and he is very good and has lots of tips and recipe ideas for all the family.

I have read the show is planning to merge with ITVs breakfast show GMTV, and the rumour has it that the shows will be on air for 6 hours or so and the presenters of each show will do different times on the one main show.

Lorraine Kelly now does her slot on GMTV at 8.35am so her part may be changed to a later time in the morning to fit in with the new show.

I do not watch the show that much at the moment as I lost a little bit of interest when Holly joined, but I do like her and think she presents very good but I preferred Fern with Phil for some reason and cannot get into the show since the new arrival.

I will take a look if the rumours are correct and see if I like it a little bit more.

It can be found on ITV each weekday from 10.30am until 12.30pm.

Also another rumour is the show is going to be aired on weekends too, but theses are just rumours as far as I can tell. I read this information in the Mirror newspaper yesterday.
