I'm going to write about a programme I have recently discovered, 'The Tomorrow People' a science fiction programme of the 1970's. I first heard of it on Top Ten sci-fi and it was mentioned that it was similar to 'Dr Who' so I had to give it a try, and have discovered that apart from the same genre there is not much other similarity, however it is still good in it's own right. I would not be suprised if not that many people these days remember it as it was made 29-30 years ago and I dont believe it is being repeated lately, also it was not immensly popular and some may find it a bit primative, not me though as this sort of thing is my bag baby. ... the tomorrow people is about a group of people faced with the difficulties of being the next stage in human evolution. The original series was shown a few decades ago (70s i think), but i first found out about it when a 90s remake was aired. as part of the evolutionary process, these people can teleport, talk to each other telepathicaly. etc. the 90s remake (the only one i have seen) was a single series that was telling a story (to be continued at the end of each episode). i liked it. admittedly i probabbly hadn't turned 12 yet, but i liked it. it maintained my interest (very difficult when you're 12), and always seemed to have ...
