Advantages: funny, factual, tense, all of the good things

Disadvantages: likely to be repeated on bbc or dave, save your money and wait

Top gear is a program about cars, with a difference. Rather than just bore you with different stats and technical information about the car, they just deliver their points about the car in a more fun, enjoyable and funny way. Top gear also take part in a variety of different "stunts" or challenges.
In this Polar challenge, the top gear decide to have a "race" to the north pole. The race is Jeremy Clarkson and James May taking the car, which in this case is the red Toyota pick up van you can see in the picture, and Richard Hammond, and a professional who will be using dogs. As, when this challenge started, no car had ever been to the north pole, there was a question as to whether or not the car would make it, but, non the less, that would not deter the top gear lads!
In this challenge, you can expect to see a range of different sights that will stick with you, including James may looking down the barrel of a shotgun, Richard Hammond falling of the sleigh for the horses countless times, and Clarkson getting annoyed with Jame, whilst wielding a chainsaw! To start off with, the challenge feels more like a joke and a laugh, with the "boys" messing about as normal, but as time goes on, they slowly begin to realise the dangerous and tough environment they are in. I do not want to tell you who wins the race, as that would ruin it, but both the car and the dogs were working in conditions, that personally amazed me to the fact that they were still working, and working well!
If you are a top gear fan, or a petrol head, and have not seen this, then a really do recommend it to you. I really did enjoy this. The only downside of getting this on dvd, is that it is likely to be shown on either channel Dave, or repeated on bbc, so you may be wasting you money. However, this is a must see, so watch it any means you can!

Summary: A great see
