TOP SHOW (and i'm a girl) (Top Gear)

I am a girl, and I admit I quite like Top Gear - don't tell my husband, as I always used to make a bit of a sigh when it came on and although he watched it avidly, I don't want him to think he was right and I would enjoy it.

This is a motoring show that is on BBC2. It has been on for many years, I think they say it has been on for 21 years, but surely that can't be right - can it?

There are 3 presenters of the show

Jeremy Clarkson - A lot of people don't seem to like him. He is alright buy there is something about him. I'm not sure if it seems to be arrogance, smugness or what, but there is sometimes something that makes me want to say "Shut Up"

Richard Hammond - The guy that had the car crash while filming the show. Make a full recovery. I think most people like him. He seems down to earth and a bit lovable

James May - Known as Captain Slow. He just seems a bit middled aged (although he is). He is alright, but sometimes doesn't seem to do much on the show. Harmless enough, but dare I say it i'm sure the show would survive without him

Oh, how could I forget the 4th member? The Stig. Who's he? Well he is the helmeted driver who does the tests and soon. You never get to know who The Stig is and I think it is the same driver all the time. If anyone knows who he is, I would love to know.

Although this show is about cars it is done in a comical and topical way. There is a few laughs along the way as well and there is challenges as well. Who could forget when they were trying to find the quickest way through London. They each went different ways - Car, Running, Boat and Train.

Also each week there is a "Star in the reasonably priced car" Each week a celebrity goes 1 lap around the Top Gear racing track and their times are recorded on the leader board. There has been numerous guests on here - Will Young, Simon Cowel, Tom Jones, Jodie Kidd, Richard Whitely and so on.

This show is on for an hour and is currently on on Sunday nights at 9pm.
