Rating:

Advantages: Hilarious with great features

Disadvantages: The amount of shows in the series are very low!

This show is almost an institution, its been on TV for as long as I can remember, and is one of the highest rating shows on BBC2.

The show has spawned plenty of spin offs including numerous DVDs and books, as well as an official magazine and probably plenty of other merchandise.

Who are the stars?
=====

There are three stars, Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond:

Jeremy Clarkson

Clarkson is simply a lunatic, but great value and makes great TV! He makes crazy decisions and is a speed demon but it the 'star' of the show in so much as he effectively fronts it with the other guys. Whilst James May and Hammond are famous, Clarkson is the real star.

James May

He is 'Captain Sensible' as he is known on the show. He acts in quite a boring manner (at least compared to Clarkson) but is necessary in the show in so much as the 'sensible' one compared to the others!

Richard Hammond

Richard Hammond has had a lot of exposure in the last few years in various TV commercials and through book deals. He was involved in a horrific crash a few years back and almost died. Thankfully he's okay and back to full strength. His character is somewhere between James May and Jeremy Clarkson!

On the whole a very funny show, and a must if you are in to cars!

Summary: Great show with great real-life characters
