Top gear is a British car show which plays on BBC 2. It is hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond. Top gear has now been running for quite a number of series, however its still as good as ever. I must admit, that im not actually car mad, and before I started watching top gear I didn't really care for cars at all, however because of it I now actually know something about cars.

The show isn't all just about cars though, theres a star in the reasonably priced car on each episode who is interviewed by Jeremy before they stick them in a car on the top gear track and see who can get the fastest time, I believe the quickest at the moment is Jay Kay.

The main thing I like about the show though is that it has a real family feel, its not just for petrol headed blokes, however it is their main audience but I also know quite a few girls who like it too.
The presenters are all funny in their own right and they interact very well with each other. They don't always get on with each other but I think that's all an act really.

Top gear is not only a very good car show, but its also a very entertaining and usually funny watch too. The fact they break the show up into testing cars, celeb interviews and some kind top gear task for the presenters to do is great and that's why it's the best car show, and one of the best shows on tv.
