Tough Guy or Chicken is a reality/travel TV program that was recently shown on BBC3. The show follows five young British guys as they travel the world and take part in rituals and adventures. Tough Guy or Chicken is a BBC 3 reality style programme that follows the fate of 5 guys (contestants) in a series of challenges round the world, exploring different cultures and practices. The five guyshave obviously been chosen for their differences and some fair better than others in the challenges. There is Ross the swimmer/athlete and joker of the bunch, Easton the firefighter, nick the actor/dancer who uses his acting skills regularly, ruben the eco warrior and ben the vegetarian (And general all round woos). The BBC3 TV show 'Tough Guy or Chicken' is presented in an unlikely reality / game-show format which features a group of demonstrably over-privileged, mostly white middle class men touring exotic destinations all over the world, meeting indigenous tribes-people, and facing various physical and psychological challenges to some ill-defined notion of universal 'manhood', during which they generally let the side down completely by behaving like the bunch of utter, redeeming-feature-free berks that they all patently and obviously - and bear in mind this is being written a mere five weeks into the series' run - have already confirmed themselves to be.
