The caretaker is disgusting enough to appeal to young kids, and my daughter sits there giggling whenever he picks his nose or farts . The voice adds an element of fear to the show, her cruel hags cackle bouncing off the tower walls . When my daughter puts on her favourite TV programmes, I usually take that as my cue to pickup a good book and tune out whatever inane rubbish she is watching. Recently though, she's taken to watching one show that I actually quite enjoy - Trapped . The shows format is one I don't think I have seen before - six children are taken to a tower, which is controlled by 'the voice'. We never see the voice, only a profile of her face, with thickly painted purple lips, rotten yellow teeth and white snowy skin - but we certainly hear her, her witches cackle and cold tones frequently being part of the show .
