Advantages: It does end eventually.

Disadvantages: The guests, the presenter, the subject matter!

Trisha has been given an hour slot, every weekday morning from 9.30am to 10.30am.

I appreciate that SOMETHING needs to fill the gap betwwen Lorraine Kelly and Richard and Judy, but is Trisha really the best that ITV can do?

I have nothing against Trisha herself, well, nothing except how annoying I find it when she tells us day after day how hard it was when she was a single parent, how one husband had an affair and the other was gay, how she has suffered and therefore she KNOWS what her guests are going through...

We all know by now that Trisha has not had an easy life and I am very pleased that things are now working out so well for her and her 3rd husband, but it is a little tedious to keep being reminded of this fact. After all, surely the Guests are the ones we should be hearing about!

Talking of guests, were there ever a sadder group of people drawn together in one place to talk about their woes????

Well...yes, there are Jerry Springer's guests of course, but as far as Brits go, I think Trisha's guests are unsurpassed...

Think of a traumatic event that you and I would absolutely hate the world to know about, and someone will be happy to appear on Trisha, telling all the gory details to anyone who cares to sit down with a cup of tea and a rich tea biscuit, to listen.

Try and avoid this dross if you possibly can.
