Advantages: Good TV, Real emotions, Self-help

Disadvantages: A bit outrageous

Personally, I love watching chat shows and Trisha is good at what she does!

At first I used to hate Trisha but over the years she has really become a pro at hosting her show.
Chat shows can be gruesome where people reveal things which are incredibly bizarre and they make good TV but that is really just looking at them from one perspective.
In fact, many of the chat shows presented on TV are not just light hearted and fun (although that is generally the case) but they do aim to counsel people and help them through their problems.
Trisha is a show of balance, sometimes I watch it and find that I can relate to many of the concerns voiced on the programme whereas other times I just end up changing the channel!
The reason that people seem to be attracted to chat shows is because they take us away from our own problems and put them into perspective - or give us motivation to sort them out.
I think Trisha is great what she does and her shows are delivered with real emotion - she'll be around for a long time to come!
