Advantages: Makes you apreciate how lucky I am!

Disadvantages: Whinging guests, Lack of substance

Why anyone would want to appear on t.v. to air their problems is a mystery to me.
Do they secretly hope to be signed up as the next 'big thing'? Do they think that appearing on t.v. will make their problems dissappear? Do they not have minds of their own?

The general mix of this show is someone comes on with a terrible problem usually along the lines of "I think my husband is having an affair with my sister" or "He prefers footie to me".

GET A LIFE!

If you really can't sort your problems out for yourself, why would anyone think that going on national t.v is going to do it for them.
The studio audience all pipe up with their opinion and takes sides which at the end of the day helps nobody.

If most of us have a problem we can't deal with on our own we would generally confide in friends or family and be mortified if too many people knew the intimate details of our lifes, whereas the guests on Trisha and similar shows seem to relish in airing their dirty washing in public.

If I was Trisha, I would take my next whinging, moaning guest and slap them with a wet mop until they came to their senses.

On the plus side, whenever I catch 5 minutes of the programme, I do thank the Lord that my life is so simple compared to some!
