Advantages: Fun, free, time in Norwich

Disadvantages: traveling involved

Everything would have been fine if i hadn't said i needed a good day out. I mean, this day was as good as over and it was only 8am. I couldn't find a thing to wear, was not in the mood, and was running late.

'Looking forward to it babe'?, asked my friend. 'Yeah, it's gonna be a great day', i swore under my breath and smiled. It was going to be crap, a total waste of a day. I'd rather be going to work.

Half an hour before the coach was due to leave, and i was considering making up some excuse. By 9.30am the coach had turned up and my friend started to squeal, 'oohh, i love Trisha, i really do!', oh please i thought, this is gonna be a day of hell.

The journey took over 2 hours, and as we approached Norwich, i began to feel excited, surely not?

Outside the Studio's, everyone started chanting 'Trisha, Trisha!'. Then on jumped Mr 'i want to be a tv star', 'Hi folks, when i call out your name, can you tell me in your lodest voice, how many you have in your party?'. I was quite amused by everyones reaction, it was quite funny. He then explained we was going to watch the second show, and that we had 2 hours to explore the delights of Norwich. Off we all headed to the local bar, and two hours later i was merry, and ready for Trisha.

We entered the Anglia television studio's, and were offered complimentary food and drinks in a large room. Although the sausage rolls and coke didn't look that appetising.

After filling in a few questionaires, we were asked to follow a studio hand, to the studio. Walking through the buildings reminded me of being back at school, the decor was as bland too.

The studio was much smaller than i had imagined, very compact, and its amazing how they get that set to stay up, as its only made of chipboard! Trisha came in, and explained what she was going to do. Trisha was very nice, she came a
cross as a very genuine person.

The cameras started to roll, and the first couple came on, and stated how strong they were as a couple, even though the husband had left her and lived with another woman. I found myself putting my arm up to ask a question, i got really into it, and got myself worked up, lol! The second part was just so bad i cannot go into it, it was so cruel, and cringeworthy. I felt so sorry for the guests. It was because of this i believe my show was never aired.

'Thanks alot for coming folks', said Trisha, then we were asked to leave. I was feeling kinda down, i had actually enjoyed myself, it was a total laugh. The coach ride home everyone was on a high, and we sang and joked all the way home. Good fun, an escape from the kids, and it was free, the coach, the lot, so if you fancy a day away from the grindstone, you ought to call them for some tickets, i recommend this for all.

Sounds a fun day out, can't be bad if it was all for free.
