Advantages: She's good.

Disadvantages: But her show isn't.

I am not a fan of chat shows. Hence, I am not a fan of Trisha. The issues dealt with don't tend to interest me, and I find that too much time is spent delving into the details of what often come accross as petty squabbles. When it's petty, it's boring, but when it's serious, I feel bad for watching; so I can't win. Trisha herself, as chat show hosts go, is surprisingly good - she controls her guests well, keeps the abuse level down, and tends to make good points, which are frequently agreed upon by the guests. However, this doesn't save the show as a whole from failing to entertain.
