Two and a Half Men is fantastic. It's an American comedy series which airs in the UK Monday nights at 21:00 on Comedy Central. This programme is based on the life of bachelor Charlie Harper. He lives in Malibu in a beach front house and makes his money by writing jingles and gambling, loses money by drinking to much, sleeping with lots of woman and gambling (Ironic Eh) The programme started by Alan Harper (Charlie's brother) moving in with Charlie much to his annoyance. I only discovered Two and A Half Men sometime last year, I didn't like it at first but after watching it a few times I grew to love it. It's shown pretty much every day on Comedy Central, several times a day in fact! It's now in its 7th season and new episodes are shown on Monday nights and then they are repeated throughout the week. Two and A Half Men follows the lives of Charlie, his brother Alan and Alan's son Jake. Charlie (played by Charlie Sheen) is a selfish, self centred man who makes lots of money from writing jingles and children's music. He used to be a playboy who did nothing apart from drinking and sleeping around but he's ... Read the complete review

Emmy Award nominated Two and a Half Men is currently the biggest comedy in America and has been for the past four seasons. Not bad considering the vast choice of comedies available on American TV. It's a great comedy about the lives of two brothers, Charlie and Alan Harper, and Alan's son Jake. Charlie is a well-off bachelor with a flash car in the driveway and gorgeous home on the beach in Malibu. He writes jingles for a living and not much else apart from drink and sleep with tons of hot young girls. A nice relaxed, laid back lifestyle. Until that is Alan and Jake come to live with him 'temporarily' after Alan's divorce from his deeply ... Read the complete review

Fantastic, addictive and on the tv every day! I stumbled across this programme whilst flicking through cable looking for something to watch. After a few episodes i was hooked. The story is based Cahrlie (Sheen) a rich playboy who lives of his royalties as a jingle writer and his unlucky brother Alan (Cryer) who comes to stay with him when his marriage breaks down. With him he brings his quirky son Jake (Jones), an exlover Rose who is now his neighborly stalker and abrupt cleaner Berta and you have a fantastic cast. This is easy going tv which you can pick up and watch at anytime. Throughout the series you see Charlie (Sheen) encounter several funny, meaningless ... Read the complete review

I was channel surfing one day and came across this gem of a comedy programme. For me, this is one of the funniest American sitcoms since Friends had it's day. What the programme is about>>> The programme centres itself around three main characters. Firstly, there are the two adult brothers - Charlie and Alan. These brothers are complete opposites in terms of attitude and personality. Charlie is a laid back, wealthy, womaniser, who lives off royalties that he has made from writing jingles. whilst Alan is a divorced dad of one who lives rent free in Charlie's house and has no luck with women. Basically, Charlie is the 'cool' character whilst ... Read the complete review
