Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place (1998)Newest Review: ... all friends from university, with Berg the grad student taking up a job in a pizza place, hence the name. A lot of the actual plot centred around the general things that a sitcom would contain, such as failed romances, various business schemes, and gossip. The interaction between Reynolds and Ruccolo was brilliant, with the former absolutely hilarious as the carefree Berg, and Ruccolo ... more |

This US sitcom was rather overshadowed by a number of highly commercially appealing TV shows in the 90s and the beginning of this decade, such as Friends and Frasier. However, for many students, 2 Guys and a Girl and a Pizza Place was great daytime viewing. It started out with this title, but by the third season, they dropped the pizza place from the title, hoping to appeal to a wider audience, or at least one that didn't have a mouthful of a title to wrestle with. So, what's it about? Well, it focused on the lives of two friends, Berg (Ryan Reynolds) and Pete (Richard Ruccolo), flatmates in their late twenties, and their friend Sharron (Traylor ... This show when it started off was about three college graduates who are the best of friends and is based around the pizza place where the guys work and the buuilding where they all live. Truly genius script writing allows a fast paced, sharp, witty and thoroughly refreshing comedy that at points can have a whole room of people calling out in laughter. This is not simple teen comedy and has many layers to it. The script does not wait to explain itself as in many American sitcoms, nor does it wait for you to catch up and what is given is a fulfilling 25 minutes of comedy every night or afternoon. Each character has their flaws that provide much of the comedy such ... Read the complete review

The title says it all really, this is one of the top comedy shows on Trouble TV (607) It is about 6 twenty somethings all living a in a Boston apartment, there have been many combinations of relationships between the 6, which i will talk about later. I first discovered this on the first night i had Sky Digital, there was nothing else on, and i was just surfing through the channels, as you do, when i stumbled across this show. At this time, i had no real favourite shows to watch, with friends, in it's 7th series, and to be honest, getting a little tiresome, i had pretty much given up on it. So you can imagine i was pretty pleased to find this show. Also, it is played ... Read the complete review
