Advantages: Funny lines, and characters!

Disadvantages: Boston FRIENDS!

...The pizza place is gone! At first the show was about their college days. Berg, as he is called, is short for Michael Bergman. He is studying to be a doctor. He uses this fact to try to "rap" with the ladies!

Pete has been Berg`s friend for years, and they are now roommates. Pete is a self-centered, neurotic, especially when it comes to relationships. He is studying to be an architect!

Sharon, well Sharon isn`t in college. She got a job right away as a spokesperson of a chemical, or oil company. Her job is basically to go on the air, when a disaster strikes, such as an oil spill, and explain to the public, what the company is doing to clean the problem up. She usually doesn`t realize the camera is on, and she`ll be talking to some one making jokes about the situation! Sharon lives in the same building as the guys.

The pizza place is where Pete and Berg work, and where the three friends always meet. The owner is always taking jabs at the guys excapades! Another character(played by M*A*S*H`s David Ogden Stier) is always talking about his life experiences. Only problem is that they are all a Movie of the Week, or other TV show!

In an episode about their early college days that took place at the pizza place when it use to be a bar, we see how the 2 guys met the girl! Berg and Pete would go there on this particular night because there would be free beer and plenty of women! The catch to the free beer, is that at one point during the night, the Beer Blast would be announced, and all doors to the exit and bathrooms would be closed! The blast would end if anyone would leave, or have to go to the bathroom!

Enter Sharon...Sharon wasn`t a corporate type, but rather a flower child type collecting signatures, for some worthy cause! Berg, and especially Pete, would be more interested in her rather than her cause. Sharon was drinking juice, and plenty of it!

Suddenly, as Sharon is trying to make it to the bathroom,
the beer blast is called! This makes for a situation...do you go to the bathroom, and have a gang of angry beer drinkers coming at you, or do you hold it until you burst! The guys eventually help Sharon get out unnoticed, and they have been friends since!

The show is now called Two Guys And A Girl. The FRIENDS moved on. Berg has become an inturn in a hospital. Pete became a fireman. Sharon lost her job, and started seeing the building`s handyman named Johnnie.

Berg was suspended, after he misdiagnosed a patient. He does eventually become a doctor. Pete is often teased as the rookie at the firehouse. Sharon and Johnnie eventually marry.

Other new characters to make an appearence are Ashley, who is also a doctor, and also dated Berg for awhile. She often speaks her mind which may be her downfall. She also lives in the same building as the others.

Irene moves into the apartment next to the guys. She owns alot(?) of cats, and developes an almost stalking crush on Pete! Pete tries to totally ignore and avoid her!

Different things happen around the lives of all these people, but the 2 guys and girl are still at the center of it all! Pete and Ashley, exchange insults at every moment(possible sexual tension!). Berg starts to have sex, and fall for Irene, who still loves Pete! Johnnie is as cheap as they come, he knows where to buy 3 beers and 3 hot dogs for 2 dollars!

This show is very funny and entertaining, as you follow the lives of these people, I hardly ever miss it...BUT...with the entrance of the other three FRIENDS, this show is starting to resemble FRIENDS, only from Boston instead of New York!

Check it out...Two roommates, Chandler and Joey...Berg and Pete. Central Female Character, Sharon...Rachel. Free Spirit, Phoebe...Irene(Phoebe on LSD!). Know it all, Monica...Ashley. Although Johnnie and Ross are a little unlike, as you watch the show, subtle similarities start to appear, but they are on an oppo
site sence! Ross spends, Johnnie saves; Ross has been Married and divorced twice, Johnnie loves Sharon; Ross has a good job in a museum, Johnnie is a building handyman.

I do enjoy this show, and if you do like Friends, you will like this show!
