Advantages: Excellent cast.

Disadvantages: Only available on digital/cable/satellite viewers who can see Trouble.

If you have digital television this superb comedy is a must-see. Currently it is showing on Trouble (channel 607) but I am positive that it will eventually find it's way to terestrial television. For when it does I will tell you what to expect.

It is set in Boston and is about three friends who met in college (oddly enough two guys and a girl). The two guys, Pete and Berg, share an appartment, and the girl, Sharon, lives above them. Pete starts off as an architect student but things change as the series moves on. I won't reveal all the details as to not spoil it for you when you watch it, but needless to say, Pete loses his interest in architecture. The superbly sarcastic Berg, my favourite of the characters, eventually finds his way into medicine and begins training to become a doctor. Sharon starts off as a spokesman for a chemical company but, like Pete everything changes as the series moves on. Her original job does create some amusing episodes in the earlier series however. One of the most memorable of the earlier episodes takes place when Sharon offers her resignation to her boss. In return, her boss tells her to think it over and take a weekend off in Aruba, paid for by the company. Sharon however, doesn't want to go because she wants to quit the job where she has to justify her company spilling oil all over the natural wildlife. Pete is also against the trip, which is for all three of them, because he has an important interview on Monday. Berg convinces them to go though, telling them that "Maturity is stalking them" and that they "owe it to young people evrywhere to get very drunk". As they are about to leave though Pete gets a call from the man who was interviewing him on Monday telling him to meet him today. They all rush to meet an egotistical man who brags about the affairs he has had on business in Scotland. After hearing this, in order to speed things up, Berg walks over, puts on a Scottish acce
nt, and tells the man (who he calls "Da") that he is his long lost son. As a result, The man tells Pete that he'll catch up with him some other time and leaves quickly. They're off to Aruba! Well not yet. Next Sharon gets a call saying that she has to take a press conference because her companies oil tanker has spilled oil in a lake. Sharon tells them to go without her because she can't just make a statement - she'll have to take questions. This gives the two guys a plan. After Sharon has made her statement she asks for questions. At this, Berg and Pete spout out rediculous questions like "What colour was the tanker?". After a few of these questions she walks out, condemning the reporters for not taking this tragedy seriously. They're off to Aruba! Unfortunately not. On their way to the airport the car runs out of gas due to all of the driving they have been doing. They have to then push the car all the way to a gas station where Berg then gets beeped (his first beep on his new beeper - he gets Sharon to take a picture of him and his beeper to celebrate) by the hospital. He has to then go in to help out because he's the only one available. Needless to say, they never make it to Aruba. Nevertheless this episode is a prime example of the sarcastic, off-the-wall, harmless comedy that brings a fresh new outlook to this genre. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has the ability to currently watch it (at the moment it is on at 4:30) and it is suitable for all ages, although the young won't get all of the jokes.

Nice opinion,:) The show is great, WATCH IT! Berg is simply amazing with an uncanny resemblance to Mr Chanlder Bing of Friends. Nice op.

Sounds good! As fluffypup said, a few line breaks and paragraphs would make it a bit easier to read.

Good opinion, but consider adding a few line breaks and paragraphs to make it easier to read. : )
