Advantages: Witty, sharp humour, Great interaction between characters, Better than Friends by far

Disadvantages: they discontinued it

This show when it started off was about three college graduates who are the best of friends and is based around the pizza place where the guys work and the buuilding where they all live. Truly genius script writing allows a fast paced, sharp, witty and thoroughly refreshing comedy that at points can have a whole room of people calling out in laughter. This is not simple teen comedy and has many layers to it. The script does not wait to explain itself as in many American sitcoms, nor does it wait for you to catch up and what is given is a fulfilling 25 minutes of comedy every night or afternoon.

Each character has their flaws that provide much of the comedy such as Pete the worrier, Sharron the maneater (untill Jonny) and Berg the irrepresible charmer. There are another three characters Jonny, Ashley and Irene who are regulars but sadly with the demise of the pizza place we also lost one of the most ingenious characters in Mr. Bowers played by the great David Ogden Stiers. Ryan Reynolds(Berg), Richard Ruccolo(Pete) and Traylor Howard(Sharron) seem to be typecast for their roles and the interaction between characters is some of the best I've seen.

This programme started in 1998 and ran for two seasons as "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place" before returning for another two seasons as "Two Guys and a Girl" before it was discontinued but now repeats in order on a loop every afternoon at 4.30pm or 11.25pm on Trouble(607).

This programme is great for a daily dose of laughter which is always good, and when watched with other fans comes into its own. It is compulsive and enjoyable to watch and if you try but three episodes I guarantee you will love this humorous, fresh and exciting programme.

I would recommend it to everyone and although it has been criticised for getting slightly too caught up in their flawed love lives in the later series, the programme would have not been as genius without the inclusion of the t
hree minors of Jonny, Ashley and Irene.

Have fun with this little known programme because I know that its style of comedy will appeal to all, even possibly the Americans though the jokes aren't obvious from the build up.

P.S. Watch out for former Saved By The Bell star Tiffany Amber Thiessen(Kelly/Marti)who has reappeared as the fantastic Marti for a stint in series 3, She Is HOT!!! and is engaged to Richard Ruccolo(Pete).
