Advantages: great escapism great plot

Disadvantages: takes ages to show one series to the next

Yesterday saw the last in the series of Ugly Betty. I wish they would tell us when it was coming back and I hope we dont have to wait as long as last time for the next series.

This is a series that follows Betty Suaraz a budding young journalist, who is hired by Bradford Mead Director of Mode Magazine, a glossy fashion mag, to be his sons assistant as she is the only candidate he knows his son will not try and sleep with.

Betty is a square peg in a very round hole, surrounded by fashionistas, glamour and material things Betty has no interest in, Betty finally finds a friend in Christina who works as the in house seamstress who keeps her up to date with all the gossip of the companys staff.

Whilamea Slater is the creative arts director and desperatly wants Daniels job as Editor in Chief, so her and her assistant Marc try to sabbotage Daniel and Betty at every opportunity.

Marcs best freinds with Amanda who is the receptionist and constantly pokes fun at Betty for being the odd one out and these two characters are the comedy of the show and keep it light hearted and entertaining.

Ugly Betty is really good fun to watch with vibrant characters and exellent fashion whats not to like?

Summary: give me more!
