Advantages: The acting and storylines

Disadvantages: Not very realistic

At the minute, Waterloo Road is one of my favourite TV shows, even though the series has finished. It is all about a school near Manchester and features the lives of both the teachers and the pupils, and really does serve as a brilliant peice of drama. The previous series consisted of over 20 one hour long episodes, however, I have heard rumours of it becoming a show like Holby City, in that it will run all year round. Shown on BBC 1 at 8pm, it can be for family viewing, however, it does feature some strong storylines and issues.

Over the past couple of series, it has included some big named actors, including Eva Pope, and Denise Welch. I absoultely love Waterloo Road, and would recommend it to all TV watchers. The drama included is intense, and the fact that some of the issues are so close to home makes it even better viewing. At times, you can really relate to the characters and the things that they are going through.

One thing that I will say about the show is that it isnt too realistic, in that I would be really worried if the teachers at my kids school acted like they do on Waterloo road. They are filming a new series and cant wait for it to come back. The boxsets are now available for all of the previous series' so there is no reason why you cant catch up, I would if I were you.

Thanks for reading.

Summary: Very good show, and the acting is great
