Advantages: entertaining, quick, good prize amount

Disadvantages: strongest link can be voted off

People who have watched this relatively new quiz show on BBC 2 either love it or hate it. I am one of those who loves this new quiz. I find it more entertaining than Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

The Weakest Link runs at a fast pace and the format of the show is very suitable. However, one new rule needs to be introduced for it to be fair. The new rule should be that the strongest link cannot be voted off i.e. to stop other contestants voting them off simply because they are better than them.

The show's duration is 45 minutes and hosted by Anne Robinson, who acts like a head mistress, but this adds to the atmosphere and I think she has calmed down recently. One person, who is the strongest link, wins to the prize total, which can be upto £10,000. The contestants have to work very hard for the prize by answering a lot of questions.

The show is very entertaining, particularly the contestant's comments as to why they have voted for person-x. Some of the funniest examples I have seen are "She is younger and prettier, no other reason" and "Ivy is the shortest name to write".

An enjoyable show on BBC 2 - well worth a look in if you have not seen it yet.
