Advantages: Fun for the first few times

Disadvantages: Gets boring after a while, too long as well

The weakest link is a question show hosted by Ann Robinson. In this gameshow, a "team" of contestents must rack up money in the "bank" for only one of them to win! At the end of each round, someone is voted off as the weakest link, and the game continues. Each question that someone gets right causes a "slot" to go up, and when someone gets a question wrong, the slots go back to zero. (each slot has a higher value than the one before, e.g. £20, £50, £100 and so on). However if a contestent "banks" the money, the slots go down to zero, and the value of that slot is saved.

However, just because someone is losing you money (by getting questions wrong) does not mean that you want to get rid of them, as in the last round, the one with the most correct answers wins the money, so sometimes you need to vote tactially!

So what is good and bad about this program?
Well, when this program first came out, it was very exciting, and thrilling, but over time, this program has all but died out. The reasons for this are:
One game of the weakest link can take over an hour!
The money won at the end by one person can be very little in comparison to the time taken (maximum that i have ever seen was £2000 odd)

Summary: Ok at first, but gets boring very quickly
