How can anyone dislike this programme or the host?
This quiz show is shown on BBC 2 at 5.15pm each week day and stars Anne Robinson as the host. She has 8 unfortunate contestants who battle aginest each other to take home a pittance. The idea is that each round she asks questions to each contestant and for every correct answer the money scale goes up-starting at 20 pounds if they get the question right it goes up to 50 pounds then 100 pounds and so on. The contestants are allowed to bank the money that may have already acumilated when it is their turn. If they get the question wrong they go back to nil and start to climb the ladder again. At the end of the round the other contestants get the chance to vote of the worsr player of the round. This continues until there are two players left. They then go againest each other as there can only be one winner!!!
Tonights winner only got 1350.00 and well deserved it if only for the horrible remarks from dear old anne. Saying that Ann is great for the show the way she snaps at contestants and puts them down by telling them they have done pathetic.
All in all a very addictive show with the perfect host.
