The weakest link is going prime-time, and so it should. The show is the best new quiz-show since Millionaire, and great fun to watch. Basically contestants compete for money in rounds, voting off the 'weak link', one contestant, each time. At the end the two remaining contestants go head to head and whoever wins the penalty shoot out style quiz finale goes homw with the pot of money. This bare bones analysis does not do the show justice. Anne is evil in her role as host, berating the competitors, mocking them and ultimately dismissing them. This has been criticised but is a very enjoyable aspect of the show, the contestants aren't babies after all. As competitors lose and leave they give quick soundbites to camera, these can be wonderfully bitchy or grandiosely self-deluding. Every aspect of this show works. and now it should get the wider audience it deserves. Keep it up.
