I love this gameshow. It's great fun to play along at home, by yourself or with friends/family/partners/colleagues.
The concept of the game is for a team of nine people, who don't know eachother, to answer general knowledge questions in the time allotted. They try to build up a chain of answers to reach a target of £1,000, starting with £20, then £50, then £100, £200, £500, etc. If they get the answer wrong then the chain is broken and they recommence at twenty. They can banmk the money at any time in the chain before a question is asked.
At the end of each round the contestants vote off whomever they believe to be the weakest link. Each round 10 seconds is taken off the given time.
The two final players go head-to-head, penalty shoot-out stylee, with five questions, and going on to sudden death in the case of a tie. The possible prize fund is upto £10,000.

I think Anne Robinson is the best presenter for this show. She isn't meant to be nice when she tells the losers to get lost. They were crap so they deserve to leave with nothing. Cut her some slack!
