The weakest link in a game how that came on the TV shortly after who wants to be a millionaire. I personally find it boring, very repetitive and tedious, erm…just like who wants to be a millionaire actually.

There are 10 contestants and 10 rounds with a possible £10000 up for stake. People are asked questions in order, the more they get right, the more money goes in the "kitty". The money moves gradually up a pole (each time it goes up the money is near doubled), so the more questions they get right in a row the faster the money goes up. If someone wants to bank the money they shout "bank" before they are asked the question. If someone answers a question incorrectly the money that is not banked goes to zero.

It is hosted by the strange and really strange Ann Robinson. She try's to act mean and serious on it at the same time. Every time that a round is over the same thing happens. For example:

Ann: "John, why did you vote against Paul?"
John: "well I couldn't vote for myself could I?"
Ann: "Jenny, why did you vote against Paul?"
Jenny: "well I noticed that he got two of the questions wrong"
Ann: "you got one question wrong, yourself"
Jenny: "yes , but he got two wrong"
Ann: "well…….Paul?"
Paul: "Yes?"
Ann: "You are working to be a doctor aren't you?"
Paul: "yes I am"
Ann: "and you have three A levels?"
Paul: "yes"
Ann: "well what can we say…. You are the weakest link goodbye!"

What is the point? And not only that, but you have to listen to it 10 times! Ann really gets on my nerves, she tries to make people look so small and thick, and in doing so just makes herself look stupid. I like it when she pronounces the question wrong and you hear a mumble laugh from the audience, it is just so sat
isfying.

The weakest link could have been much more interesting, they could have been playing for bigger money, they could have chosen someone else to host it and… chosen someone else to host it.

I have already foreseen the future on the weakest link. Wait for it, "The Weakest Link Celebrity special.
