Ok, so the BBC are now trying to compete with the likes of Who Wants to be a Millionaire and co. This is the result. You can see the ties between the two programmes (the same style music, coinciding with the descending lights, etc.). We've seen it before? Well, not really. Why? That's because this quiz show is COMPLETELY unfair!!! The 'weakest link' is meant to be eliminated after each round, but the weakest link is 'voted out' by the other contestants. Basically, the smartest, most knowledgable person may not even win (these tactics were employed in the last episode I saw where one of the contestants excuse for elimiminating another was that she 'felt that he would provide a tougher opposition' in the next round. This is a FARCE!!! Also, the prize money is ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH!!! You work your socks off through 8 intensive rounds of questions (whilst enduring the glare of Anne Robinson), and in the end, you'll walk away with about £1750!!!

Talking of Anne Robinson, what can I say? She was dubbed by one contestant as being 'the worst ever teacher you'll come across'. I couldn't agree more. She will put you down at every oppurtunity. She NEVER smiles, and the infamous 'goodbye' after the supposedly 'weakest link' leaves REALLY annoys me!!!

So, a quiz show with the ideas of it's peers, but not the finance!

The weakest link? Very appropriate to describe the winner.

I couldn't agree more. The prize money is very low, for the ammount of work that has to be done to get it. BBC have now moved the show to a prime spot. 8.30 on BBC 1. Madness!!!!!!

Four months later what do we see? The phase "You are the weakest link. Goodbye." has become the new "Wazzup!" catchphase on the street. It seems it's a very popular show. Nice opinion.
