I had seen "What The Romans Did For Us" advertised in the Radio Times but because of its historical nature it just didn't appeal to me even though I saw that Adam Hart Davis would be presenting the series. I have to thank mmillmor for pointing me towards "What The Romans Did For Us" in the commentary made to my "Yesterday's World". Much obliged mmillmor. It is nearly fifty years since I left school and whilst there I absolutely hated history.
