I actually appeared on Whittle which was a complete accident and will be a constant source of embarrassment as long as they keep repeating it. I had only gone along to keep my brother in law company and certainly never expected (or wanted) to get whittled down to the last ten. After the adverts though, there I was, one of the lucky ten who got to make idiots of themselves in front of millions (well thousands) of people on national television. Judging by my deadpan expression, I was obviously in shock which was further proved by the fact that I could only speak in monosyllables!! When the first question came up, the screen was so far across the studio I couldn't read it without my glasses, so I didn't even get one question right!! I was one of the first to wear a Whittle mask and was actually really relieved since I was only on screen for about 2 minutes so hopefully no one recognised me!!

Summary:
