Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Who wouldn't!! The format of the show is original, and has proved a hit the world over, and the British makers are doing very nicely, and must be millionaires themselves by now!

Initially the team had trouble selling the show to thhe TV networks, and had a change to their angle of attack, and the new approach was as follows.

They went into the meeting with a flip chart and several envelopes of cash, in increasing increments. They decided to demonstrate the format in a live manner, and the TV execs believed, and it became the legend we see today!

What you dont see is that the contestant has as long as they want to answer, and is under no pressure (except that of their own making!).

Tuning in again the first time in a while the other night, it didn't grip me as much as it did before. The novelty is wearing off, but it is still great fun.
