Advantages: can take part in it by guessing the answers, excellent format of the show. keeps you gripped
Disadvantages: none
I wonder if the program would loose it’s appeal once someone wins the million pounds. That would be interesting to see. Nonetheless, it’s an excellent and entertaining program. The reason for that is probably because you can get yourself involved in it. Chris Tarrant is a perfect presenter for it; he does a good job making the contestant go through the motions. Has anyone ever applied to be on the show? I wonder if they ask what you had studied in your life, I doubt the latter questions have anything to do with what you had studied. They aren’t going to have the 15th question on the human body if you’re a doctor!! For those of you who as yet have never seen the program, basically you have to answer 15 multiple-choice questions to win £1 million. You can see the question, and if you like, you don’t have to answer it, instead you take what you have got. Along the way to help you are three life lines (ask the question to the audience, phone a friend, or 50/50, the latter removes two incorrect answers). No one as yet has ever won £1 million. Personally, I think the reason for that is due to the contestants not being brave enough. Obviously when you have just got £250,000 anyone would think twice about taking a risk! The format of the show couldn’t be any better. Fifteen questions is a perfect amount and the three life lines make up a great combination. The idea of getting to see the next question and then decide if you want to take the risk is perfect. I doubt it would’ve been as good if you didn’t get to see the next question, unless you take the risk. Who ever came up with the idea really did his homework..! Look forward to seeing the first millionaire from the show..!!

- 20/10/00 I love the programme but there is one thing which gets on my nerves. That being when people use the 50/50. Chris usually asks which 2 they think it might be, and these 2 always seem left behind! |
