Advantages: Compelling, tense, fun
Disadvantages: i havent been on it...., yet...
Who wants to be a millionaire....me, me, me, me...i do. I do. Who doesn't? Watching ordinary people coming close to this magical number is both breathtaking, and wonderful. The structure of the stage alone, with the dark, but warm colours immediately creates an atmosphere of tension and anxiety. The music is fabulous. Again emphasising what I've already mentioned. The ratings of this show have overlooked that of the most popular BBC1 show...sometimes by three to one. As you can tell from this stat alone. It is the best ever quiz show ever devised. If you havent seen the show then...you need to get out more. With multiple series' it has made two millionaires. 15 questions. You get to see the question before you answer it and you have three lifelines to help you on your way- Phone a friend, 50-50, and ask the audience. Sounds easy eh??? WRONG...far from it. Questions range from easy...do in your sleep kind, to questions that you do not have a clue how to guess, never mind know the answer. Mary had a little..what? a)Cow b) Elephant c) Crocodile d) Lamb... (if you don't know the answers d...) So, the studio's silent for fastest fingure first...the game of speed, and skill...2.47 seconds is one of the fastest times ever recorded. From this, the hotchair seat is then filled..the questionning begins... You must've heard of... are you sure? Is that your final answer? Confident...? WE Don't want to give you that... A thouroughly compelling show that deserves all the media hype that it has gained. CHRIS TARRANT IS A GENIUS.

- 21/05/01 Hooray! All I hear is Chris Tarrant being slagged off. Great to hear someone else appreciates him for what he is - a very, very clever presenter. |
