Advantages: good show, good presenter
Disadvantages: none i can think of
I find this show to be one of the greatest if not the greatest of its genre. Many other broadcasts of this nature tend to fail due to the fact that the presenter cant carry the show well. In this case it couldn't be further from the truth Chris Tarrant is absolutely amazing. In my opinion he could make watching paint dry fun which for a show of its kind is a vital asset the way he makes each question so much more exciting, and the way in which he make the viewer feel they are in the studio adds to the appeal of the show. The show itself is set in a studio where the contestant must first go up against his/her fellow contestants to win the fastest finger first round, where you will be given a question and you must put them in the right order. The contestant with the fastest time for puting these in order wins the right to play for a £1,000,000. The next round starts with Chris and the contestant in the middle of the studio floor in front of laptops waiting for the first question to appear while the audience are eagerly watching from around the room to see whether they will be called in to play as the contestant is offered lifelines which are ask the audience, where you can go by the majority of the audience or against, 50:50 is where two of the wrong answers are taken away leaving the one right answer and the remaining wrong answer, the final lifeline would be to phone a friend to see if they could help aid your chances of reaching a £1,000,000 by correctly answering 15 questions. In the event of the contestant running out of time on the show he/she would be invited back to the next days show where they would start from where they left off. The whole appeal and one of the main reasons I beleive it to be so popular is its diversity in the fact that anyone can get the chance to win £1,000,000.

- 13/11/01 Have to concur with the comments below I'm afraid ... very difficult to read. |

- 13/11/01 I second that - can we have some paragraph breaks please? |

- 13/11/01 Sorry to rate so low, but I found this op really difficult to read - try to break up the text into smaller paragraphs with spaces inbetween. A couple of your longer sentences could also do with some more commas. The content was good though, so if you lay this op out better I will be happy to come back and upgrade my rating; just let me know! |
