Whose line is it anyway must be one of my favourite TV shows of all time. Its layout is a comedy show which is all improvised, and each show has four comedians, usually the same people, with a couple of variations sometimes who are given various tasks to improvise or different scenarios to act out.

It actually started as a radio show and was quite successful and so was made into a TV show for channel four in 1988. It ran for quite a lot of series, until it stopped in 1998. However after that ABC began an American version of the show hosted by Drew Carey instead of Clive Anderson.
However my two favourite comedians off whose line, Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie were also in the American version too, and so was a new regular Wayne Brady who I found very funny too.
I think the American version may have been a bit better then the English one because as it went along they got better games, such as the Irish drinking song.

However the American version got low ratings and so it only ran for a few series before it ended in 2004. I'm not sure how old Colin and Ryan are now, but I would really love to see this show come back to the UK for a new series, it was one of the funniest shows on TV, and it was just because it was all totally un scripted and the comedians in it were great personality's too. If you haven't seen this yet make sure you check it out, its great.
