Advantages: can be funny

Disadvantages: sometimes people can be dull

Wife Swap has been on television for a few years now and is still very popular. Each episode features two families, normally with some large differences between them in terms of lifestyle, attitudes, general behaviour and wealth. After a brief introduction the two repective wifes trade places and live with the other family and under their rules and regime for a period of time. Normally, the show tends to be funny with some huge disagreements over minscule issues, resulting in arguments. Generally, the wives find it hard to adapt to their new lifestyles, but there are the odd exceptions. Upon the completion of the time with the other family, the wives are reunited with their loved ones, usually a joyous occassion.

The best part of the show in my opinion is at the end, when the husband and wives of the two families meet up and discuss the weeks events. This can be quite heated, especially if the families are complete opposites.

I find the show very entertaining to watch becasue it is interesting to see how the wives cope living with the new rules.
