An okay show, can be great can be awful (Wife Swap (Channel 4))

Advantages: Can be interesting to see how other live

Disadvantages: Can be plain stupid

I like Wife Swap, but sometimes you can almost predit what is going to happen - one Mum does everything for her family and is practically a slave, although sometimes she says she enjoys living like this. The other either works 24/7 or is on benefits and does nothing or lives off her husband. Normally one partner does everything and the other does nothing. And one family is always "traditional" - the husband does the job and the wife looks after the home and children. This can work but normally it doesn't and the wife realises what she is missing when she moves with the new family and doesn't have to spend her days cleaning. In some episdoes there aren't actual fights - they end up agreeing to disagree which can be annoying for the viewer! Other times when they break the rules it defeats the object of the programme and you just want to throw the remote at the rule breaker or breakees'. So if you watch Wife Swap don't expect anything brilliant.

Summary: Not worth crying over if you miss an episode
