Win My Wage was shown on channel 4 between the 16th July and August 10th 2007 and was supposed to be the summer replacement for deal or no deal - whilst Noel Edmonds had his holidays! Nick Hancock from They Think Its All Over was the presenter and the show looked like it could have been a good one, unfortunately things didn't go to plan for the show and it was axed early. The basic structure of the show was one contestant and eight people, each with different jobs and different annual salaries. Probably the toughest act to follow on television right now is replacing Deal Or No Deal when it goes for summer vacation, and that's exactly what Win My Wage had to do. For people turning on their television set and expecting to see Noel Edmonds but seeing Nick Hancock instead, the old face of 'They Think It's All Over' was going to be a very different experience for them. Whilst it did only air on Channel 4 for a matter of weeks and I'm not sure if Deal was rushed back because of bad ratings, I think all those who missed it should listen up because you might have missed something you could enjoy.
