The parents Jerry and Theresa own The Waverly Substation, which is a sandwich shop based on a subway carriage. Jerry used to be a wizard until he married Theresa, but as Theresa is a mortal he had to give up his powers. It's now on it's third season and there's also been a TV movie which will be shown on Disney Channel on September 25th.
