Credit reports, saving issues etc. Working Lunch has internet site too in case you miss it on TV. Also it makes appearance in BBC iplayer. BBC has very few financial programmes. This is one of them. The working lunch is on unsurprisingly at lunch time for half hour Monday-to-Thursday and 1 hour on Friday. Main topic is personal finance, consumer and business news and update of share prices. The program started in 1994. It is on most of the year. During big sporting events it could be cancelled as well as on major holidays. I watch it when home at lunch time. Because it is useful to pick up information that could save money for me. As I work from home I sometimes have lunch catching up with the economic and commercial news on BBC2's Working Lunch. At least I would do if the programme was any good. Unfortunately the programme is not and it seems the BBC cannot present a factual interesting programme in this slot. The programme is presented by Adrian Childs. His delivery of each item is done in a dull boring monotone. I assume he is meant to be showing a relaxed style but actually comes across as completely disinterested. "Working Lunch" as its name suggests is broadcast between 12:30pm and 1pm every weekday. It is quite simply the best business, consumer and personal finance programme available to the public. In one half hour session they manage to cram the status of the stock market, review a variety of businesses as well as tackling a number of consumer issues. The show is very easy going and you don't need a degree in finicial jargon to be able to watch. Each section is well presented in a non patrionising way.
