As I work from home I sometimes have lunch catching up with the economic and commercial news on BBC2's Working Lunch. At least I would do if the programme was any good. Unfortunately the programme is not and it seems the BBC cannot present a factual interesting programme in this slot.

The programme is presented by Adrian Childs. His delivery of each item is done in a dull boring monotone. I assume he is meant to be showing a relaxed style but actually comes across as completely disinterested. This contrasts with his assistant Adam who presents items like Adam's Shares with breathless excitement. Unfortunately though this presenter makes more mistakes in one sentence than the average presenter makes in a career.
The programme has some absurd and frankly silly links included in it. The programme is amateurish and appears to either have no editorial control or the producer is as childish as the presenters.

Working Lunch has a high value spot at 12:30 each weekday but on the present showing is not worth it. If the BBC want a respected economic programme then they do not want to change Working Lunch but scrap it and start again
