Advantages: necessary programme
Disadvantages: on at lunch time
BBC has very few financial programmes. This is one of them.
The working lunch is on unsurprisingly at lunch time for half hour Monday-to-Thursday and 1 hour on Friday.
Main topic is personal finance, consumer and business news and update of share prices.
The program started in 1994. It is on most of the year. During big sporting events it could be cancelled as well as on major holidays.
I watch it when home at lunch time. Because it is useful to pick up information that could save money for me.
Working lunch picks up stories from the city and also it has public with consumer or personal finance issues. There are tips on which shares to buy. What company is doing wrong and which accounts to choose? Of course there is much more to the show than this. Credit reports, saving issues etc.
Working Lunch has internet site too in case you miss it on TV. Also it makes appearance in BBC iplayer.

Adam Shaw, man who used to talk about shares with great enthusiasm is the main presenter after Adrian Chiles left last year. I find him better presenter than Adrian as he has deeper knowledge of financial issues.
Summary: been going for 14 years
