Advantages: Update on current issue
Disadvantages: not easily accessible for some people at that time
I find myself watching Working Lunch everyday now to keep up to date about the current financial and economic situation. Since those days when Adrian Chiles was the presenter, the programme have change and have included more topics that concern the man in the street.
The programme is aired every day for half an hour, immediately after the daily politics, from 1230hrs to 1300hrs. The present Working Lunch is hosted by Declan Curry and Naga Munchutty. There will always be a guest on the show, last week , Richard Branson was there to talk about his new book and his view about the current economic crisis and the Shell UK chairman, James Smith, talking about oil prices.
The Working Lunch programme focus heavily on the current issues including analysis of any immediate changes in the share market, discuss on the the latest business opportunities and trends. It also explore into the various aspect of savings, money saving tips and be a smart shopper.
On the lighter note, Working Lunch also examined latest technology and gadgets. In one of the program, they tested the effectiveness of a mini e book.
I look forward to watching Working Lunch especially in this uncertain times. This program help me understand better the working of the financial market and keep up to date to current issues.
